Some 3,500 host organizations across Canada do great jobs, many throughout the year, supporting low-income people with the preparation and filing of their income tax and benefit returns. But because the country is so vast, and we are all so focused on the work, we often do not have the time to seek out and learn about interesting developments taking place elsewhere in the country within the CVITP.
This part of the website offers CVITP host organizations a simple way of finding out and sharing information and ideas about the CVITP.
On the ideas and information page, we share what we know and our ideas.
The purpose of the Host Organization Networking Forum is to:
– highlight important changes for CVITP host organizations across Canada,
– comment on aspects of the CVITP at the national level, and
– raise issues connected with specific federal taxes and benefits treated in the return.
(Note that our Provinces & Territories section of the website offers CVITP host organizations a venue for sharing and reading information and ideas that are relevant to the CVITP in their own province or territory.)
