Bill Singleton
I began my “second” career as a CVITP volunteer in 2012. My “first” career included work in the Federal Government and the non-profit sector. I have a particular interest in increasing the data available on tax-and-benefit returns of low-income families and individuals, and in using that data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the CVITP programme.

Prior to becoming a CVITP volunteer, I worked for a number of public service-oriented organizations, most with a focus on poverty reduction, both internationally and in Canada. Most recently, I worked at the World Bank and Global Affairs Canada. I finished my career in the Canadian public service at the Department of Finance Canada (in international trade and finance policy).
Together, we prepare hundreds of income tax and benefit returns for low-income clients each year.
