Volunteers

Differences between averages and medians:  The average numbers of individuals assisted and of returns filed per volunteer will probably be quite different from the median as there are many CVITP volunteers who serve small numbers of clients but relatively few volunteers serving large numbers of clients.  In these cases, the medians will be less than the averages.

Host organizations

Differences between averages and medians: The average numbers of individuals assisted and of returns filed per host organization will probably be quite different from the median as there are many small CVITP clinics across Canada serving very modest numbers of clients but a relatively small number of large CVITP clinics that serve very large numbers of clients.  In these cases, the medians will be less than the averages.
